# Can I buy the BST token on Balanced DEX?

It is not advisable to buy the BST token on Balanced DEX.

* <mark style="background-color:purple;">**BST Tokens are best minted on the Blobble Finance page.**</mark>

BST tokens are backed by bnUSD and [minted/redeemed](/bst-token-information/token-mechanics/bst-minting-and-bnusd-redeeming.md) on the Blobble Finance page. The price of BST is determined by the underlying bnUSD that is backing it, read more about BST price action [here](/bst-token-information/token-mechanics/bst-price-action.md).

<img src="/files/HZ1oIdWyZWaTsHvruB3E" alt="" data-size="line"> If you attempt to sell or buy BST tokens on Balanced, you will be dealing with a community-created pool. As a result, the price may not accurately reflect the redeem value offered on the finance page. Therefore, we suggest users against buying or selling on balanced, unless we release an official announcement saying otherwise.

**You will always get the most accurate price for BST from the Blobble Finance page.**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://university.blobble.xyz/faq/can-i-buy-the-bst-token-on-balanced-dex.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
